Privacy policy

This site is designed to be light on data, too: no profiling cookies, no social buttons that follow you around, nothing sent off to advertising platforms. Below you'll find the full details of what actually happens.

Who processes your data

The data controller is FIBI S.r.l., Via di Monte Donato 2, 40141 Bologna (BO) — P.IVA 03445431202, REA 519690, capitale sociale 10.000,00 euro interamente versato. PEC: infinitylife@pec.it.
Società soggetta all'attività di direzione e coordinamento di Xplode S.r.l. ai sensi dell'art. 2497-bis c.c.

What we actually collect

We measure how many people read the blog using our own tools, hosted on servers we run ourselves. We don't use Google Analytics or any other third-party service, and no data ever leaves our infrastructure.

DataWhat it's used for
Page visited and dateTo see which topics people are interested in
Referring domainTo know whether you arrived from a search engine or from social media. We only store the domain, never the full address
CountryTo work out which languages are worth translating into
Screen type and browser languageTo check that the site looks good on the devices you use
Seconds spent reading and how far you scrollTo see whether an article reads well or simply falls flat

Why you can't be identified

You don't receive any cookies or any identifier to store. So that we don't count the same person twice in a single day, our server works out a code from your IP address, your browser and a random number that it changes every day; that code is all we keep. The random number is deleted after a few days, and from that moment on the code can no longer be traced back to anyone not even by us. Your IP address and browser are never stored.

Why there's no reject button

Opting out would make sense if we were processing data about you: here we're not. We don't touch your device and we don't keep anything that could identify you, so every visit is counted as an anonymous number, in the same way a shop knows how many people came in without knowing who they were. The banner tells you how things work; it isn't asking for a permission the law doesn't require.

Legal basis and retention

The statistics are aggregated and anonymous, so they do not constitute the processing of personal data under art. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Since we neither access nor store information on your device, the prior consent required for cookies under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code does not apply: the banner is therefore purely informative. Aggregated data is kept for a maximum of 24 months.

Device storage

The only thing we save on your device is the fact that you've dismissed the information banner, so it doesn't pop up again on every page. It stays in your browser, it isn't sent to anyone, and you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Links to other sites

Some links lead to the Naturalma shop or to Amazon, and carry a parameter that tells us only that the click came from this blog. Once you're on those sites, their own privacy policies apply, and we have no control over them. If you buy through those links, we receive no data about you personally from them.

Embedded videos and content

Videos are hosted on our own servers and play directly from this site: there's no third-party player that could track you.

AI-assisted writing

Our articles are written with the help of artificial intelligence, drawing on the content and voice of Biancaand are reviewed before publication. We're telling you upfront, in the spirit of transparency and in line with the disclosure requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act). The images accompanying our articles may be digitally generated or composed; product photographs, on the other hand, are real.

Your rights

Since we don't hold any data that identifies you, we're simply not able to link a request to a specific person. If you still believe your data is being processed, you can write to the data controller all'indirizzo PEC infinitylife@pec.it to exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If we ever change the way we collect data, we'll update this page and the date below.
